// Back to winning ways //

After the disappointment of last weekend, SCC were keen to get back to winning ways against Nippon. The game started well for SCC, putting Nippon under a lot of pressure. This pressure finally paid off when Dom volleyed into the top corner to make it 1-0. SCC continued to create chances with Dom hitting the bar from a diving header, and Liam causing numerous problem down the left hand side. Nippon playing well and pressing SCC all over the park, however not creating many goal scoring opportunities. 1-0 at half time but with a lot of work to do to get the 3 points.

The second half continued with Nippon still working hard for each other but only creating half chances. SCC then got the all-important second goal when Dom delightfully dinked the ball over the onrushing Nippon goalkeeper to make it 2-0. Two soon became 3-0 when Duric finished from close range after good work from Maurice down the right. The goal scoring was complete when Robert beat 4 defenders and finished low into the bottom corner to make it 4-0.

A tough 90 minutes for SCC who played against a Nippon team that should be in the top half of the league, not the bottom. Lots of good individual players that will cause many teams a tough afternoon.

Many positive performance from SCC today. Tim was playing well at centre back before he completely lost his head with the flat Mitre balls. Anthony was full of running and desire as he has been all season, and Jahan instrumental again throughout the whole 90mins. However Dom gets the MOM for two great finishes that had a big influence of the outcome of the game. MOM for Nippon goes to the left midfielder who caused us problems throughout
